Some vaguely important mumbo jumbo!

Who I am

My website address is: https://leroynunery.art/.

Copyright stuff

The copyright for any material published on this website is reserved. Any duplication or use of objects such as images and texts is not permitted without my written agreement. All rights reserved.

Summary

To provide the best experiences when purchasing artwork with certain payment gateways, I use technologies like cookies to store and/or access device information, or provide language translations in the cart. Consenting to these technologies will allow me to process data such as browsing behavior or unique IDs on this site. Not consenting or withdrawing consent, may adversely affect certain features and functions, and may impact your ability to make a purchase.

Cookies

If you visit my website, I may set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Like the cookie monster, some cookies aren’t bad for you, they are necessary for the web to function! The strictly necessary cookies I have personally installed do not collect any personal information, and are included to enhance the user experience, or add animations. I do have some analytics running as I am a server host and I like to ensure no creeps or weirdos are trying to do odd things on the “interwebs.”

I may also set up cookies to save your shopping cart information (when and if that functionality is added). Cart cookies last for 1 day when applicable.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

This also includes any content added from social media, or any videos from a site such as YouTube.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

I am just here to let you know, do not shoot the messenger.

Who your data may be shared with

Any data that is collected during the purchasing/checkout process may be included in processing by the selected payment gateway system (i.e. Paypal, Stripe, etc.), assuming payments are active on this website. This is only logical, such as name, address, and relevant info for any online order. Additionally, data may be collected by third-party content such as embedded YouTube videos.

How long I retain your data

I don’t retain your data, unless you are up to nefarious things like pretending to be me, which you aren’t, because I am actually me, everyone knows that… I run my site and server (more on that later), so basic data logs are kept to monitor site traffic; and dumped, as needed.

What rights you have over your data

You can request that I erase any personal data I hold about you, though there isn’t much, to be honest. This does not include any data I am obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

As mentioned, this data is technically not kept by me, for any reason other than expenses, or generally tracking site traffic (or security purposes), since I also host the website myself. If you place an order, your information will obviously be required to send/ship the artwork to you. But that seems like common sense, no?

At some point in time, I may create a newsletter to update customers on new works becoming available for purchase, or gallery showings (if I am that lucky), but I will ask you upon purchase if you’d like to stay up-to-date on my creative happenings. I dislike spam, and I certainly don’t want to add more for others.

Where your data is sent

Your data, if applicable, when purchasing a piece of art may be sent in accordance with the payment gateway chosen (i.e. Paypal, Stripe, etc.) at the time of checkout. Aside from that, I really have no need to send your data anywhere, and to be honest, I have art to go make, so I wouldn’t worry about this too much.

There, that wasn't so bad, was it?
