Tree Study (Maine)

Maine is pretty. I stayed in the woods near the water (how specific!), surrounded by hundreds of Birch trees, so I figured I’d draw a few. The toned paper lent itself nicely to the variations in the bark. I kept it simple with just a white pencil and a few Pigma Micron pens.
